Slough Prevention Alliance Community Engagement

We are a consortium of local and national voluntary services organisations all of whom represent various groups in Slough and Berkshire. As part of a new contract with Slough Borough Council we  are working as a partnership to provide information and advice for residents about local care and support services, we deliver support services for carers and we offer advice and support that aims to prevent and postpone the need for formal care.

Ramesh Kukar, the CEO of the lead organisation Slough CVS and spokesperson for space said “It has been an amazing process to bring together the knowledge and experience of over 40 local organisations and to channel that into a combined plan that will make such a difference to adults in the local community who need care and support”
